The EUROPA GOLDCARD is valid for the public transportation network, such as buses, local train network, cable cars and other mountain transportation facilities. The GOLDCARD entitles you to free travel on all mountain railways in the Upper Engadine, public transport including the ENGADINE bus, the post bus all the way to Bergell and on wonderful sections of the Rhaetian Railway, all of which take you to the starting points of unforgettable walks.

The hotel was built 1965 in 3 stages and lived through modernizations of all kind. Comfort and technologies allowing guests to benefit of the EUROPA 4 star luxury at its best.
The hotel has 127 rooms in 4 different categories and altogether over 220 beds. A large number of the rooms have balconies or terraces with a wonderful view of the Engadine mountain world. All rooms are furnished with Murphy beds and communicate thereby the feeling of living. Telephone, mini bar, safety box, hair dryers and an ultramodern in Room Entertainment program with TV, music and films on demand as well as the High speed Internet access are self evident. 

An appealing and bright Wellness and Fitness area with swimming pool, Sauna, Sanarium, steam bath sun banks, gushy showers and a modern fitness room with daylight guarantee relaxation and recovery.

A rich buffet invites for breakfast. The eggs come from the hotel-own chicken farm, yogurt, cheese and cold meat cuts, compotes, different Müesli, nourishment completion and various baking goods rank among the highlights of the breakfast buffet.

A mix from regional influences and cosmopolitan and seasonal kitchen meets to the daily changing 5-course feasting evening menu within the half-board arrangement. Of course there is also a selection of vegetarian food and the large salad buffet and the pasta from the trolley with different sauces increases the selection and makes jumping so many gourmet hearts.

The hotel is located in Champfèr only 3 Km away of the legendary world resort St. Moritz. Here one enjoys quietude, lives in the middle of nature and nevertheless the goings and the points of attraction are close by.

Nestled at the periphery of the village Champfèr and all points of interest and all skiing areas are reachable fast and simply. The stop of the local bus /Skibus can be attained in walking distance.

From Zurich towards Chur follow on the A3 and A13 until the exit Thusis Süd. Continue on the main road N° 3 passing Tiefencastel, Savognin, Bivio and cross the Julier Pass until Silvaplana. Continue on the main road N° 27 direction St. Moritz and take the second exit to Champfèr. After 400 meters take the small road to the right hand side. For guests travelling by train we provide a free transportation from and to the rail station in St. Moritz upon Arrival and departure.
